birthday bash

Emma got invited to a Rapunzel birthday party for her friend Kaitlyn. We made it a girls' thing, just her and I, and what fun we had! Not only did we get to devour lots of pizza and raw veggies, but we also had an a-maz-ing cake, with homemade frosting (my fave). There were some pretty fun crafts, and Emma left with a personalized goody bag that was stuffed with awesomeness. She made out like a bandit! Kaitlyn's mom (also Emma's Primary teacher at church) is so creative and crafty, and I just absolutely love everything she does! She inspires me to want to learn how to do all these new things. Great job, Rachel!

This is what we saw as we approached the front door ... Rapunzel's long, braided hair thrown over the door! SO COOL!!

We made a princess crown together, complete with hearts, stars, and butterflies.
