FaceTime

Whenever Chris goes out of town, the kids really look forward to doing FaceTime (video chat) with him before bed each night. Plus, it makes their bedtime routine run a lot smoother when they have an incentive! The last time they did this, we were in the middle of another bad thunderstorm. Emma gets VERY afraid, but it was adorable to watch her listen to Noah and let him calm her down. The big brother inside him really kicked in that night. He had the idea to curl up in a blanket together, then call Daddy on the computer. The storm passed, and she was really brave. I'm so proud of both of them!
